The Alliance for Girls Mentoring Initiative
Alliance for Girls members say that the opportunity to build relationships, networks and community is one of the most valuable elements of the Alliance. Current opportunities to create relationships with other members include attending Alliance workshops and mixers, the annual conference, and serving on a committee. Many members have also expressed interest in a more personal forum to develop their professional and leadership skills.
In October, Alliance for Girls launched the Mentoring Initiative to provide a platform for members to learn from the experiences of fellow members and discuss professional topics of interest while forming personal relationships with other Alliance organizations. (Not a member? Join us!)
Participants can sign up as a mentee, a mentor, or both.
