On the Rise Camp

On The Rise is backpacking course for youth entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Participants spend 12 days and 11 nights backpacking and camping in the High Sierra. All gear, food, and transportation is provided. PEERS has a new peer support for youth and young adults impacted by trauma and who may have lived experience in mental health, foster care, and or juvenile justice systems. The meetings are coed, and held twice a month. Each meeting with explore various topics related to health and wellness, with guest presenters and various activities to engage in. *Food is provided at each meeting as well as stipends. Participants must be members to receive stipends.
