The goal of this virtual series is to bring together women and girls from diverse backgrounds for dialogue and education about the state of high school aged girls* amidst COVID-19.

The County of Santa Clara Office of Women’s Policy and Girls Advisory Team is proud to host the 9th Annual Leadership Conference for high school students and allies (ex: mothers, teachers, mentors, relatives, classmates). This FREE virtual series will be comprised of empowerment and inspiration for young women focusing on mental health, wellness, hustle culture and societies expectations, and social media literacy and safety.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

SGSW is free and open to all high school students and their adult allies. Events will focus on girls* and women including women of color, immigrants, LGBTQ individuals, and their allies and advocates in Santa Clara County.

*Girls refers to gender expansive youth (cis girls, trans girls, non-binary youth, gender non-conforming youth, gender queer youth and any girl-identified youth)​
